Spring Baseball
Every year the City of Fort Worth inconjunction with the Youth Sports Council of Fort Worth offers children ages 5 to 17 years old the chance to play in a free youth baseball league. Participants are required to have a current $5.00 city membership card, which can be obtained from any local community center.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to participate in the sport more commonly known as "America's Past Time". If you've never played baseball or just want to brush up on your fundamentals, prior to the season the Athletics and the YSC host a free Players Clinic to teach baseball fundamentals to children. Please check the important dates below for the date, time and place of these clinics, as well as, registration and season dates.
Spring Softball

Participants are required to have a current $5.00 city membership card, which can be obtained from any local community center.
Please take advantage of this wonderful league and help us break the cycle of poverty by involving your child in recreation sport promoting sportsmanship, fair play, and active, healthy and positive lifestyles.
Youth Baseball/Softball Coaches Clinic
Prior to each sport season the City of Fort Worth Athletics Section and the Youth Sports Council of Fort Worth hold a mandatory youth sports coaches clinic. The City of Fort Worth Athletics Section and the Youth Sports Council will discuss the Coaches Manual and Rules for the upcoming season. NYSCA training will also be held for all coaches. If you coached last year with the city then you must renew your membership, new coaches are required to go through the two part training before they will be granted membership. It is mandatory that all coaches be NYSCA certified. The clinic will be held the Saturday prior to the beginning of the season.
Youth Baseball/Softball Players Clinic
Prior to each sport season the City of Fort Worth Athletics Section and the Youth Sports Council of Fort Worth hold a youth sports players clinic. All youth participants are invited and encouraged to attend this beneficial event. Players will be taught basic baseball/softball fundamentals by highly qualified coaches and volunteers. This is a great opportunity for players of all ages to learn new skills or brush up on forgotten fundamentals. Start the new baseball/softball season right by attending the free clinic. The clinic will be held the Saturday prior to the beginning of the season.
